NTT (Nursery Teacher Training)

NPTT (Nursery Primary Teacher Training)

Focus: This course covers training for both Nursery and Primary levels. So, it prepares teachers to handle children in the age group of 3-6 years.
Course Content:
- Includes all the subjects of NTT with an extended syllabus.
- Child Psychology.
- Teaching methodologies for primary classes.
- School organization and management.
Eligibility: Generally, a 10+2 qualification.
Duration: Typically 1-2 years.
Career Prospects: Nursery teacher, Pre-Primary teacher in private and some public schools.

PTT (Primary Teacher Training)

Focus: Trains teachers to work with children in pre-primary school (Kinder Garten, approximately ages 3-6).
Course Content:
- Child psychology and pedagogy relevant to primary school children
- Effective teaching methods for core subjects (English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies)
- Classroom management and organization
- Assessment and evaluation techniques
